Beliefs not truths, they're just beliefs.
But when you think they are truths... they essentially are.
Let me give you an example:
If you believe that in the end you'll always get disappointed anyway.
Then you'll attract situations in your life where you'll be disappointed....
Here is how that works:
Imagine you try to organise a party, or start a business while believing that you'll be disappointed anyway, that people won't show up or that nobody will buy.
How easy will it be to stay enthusiastic, have perseverance and resilience, when you believe that it won't work out in the end anyways???
So...what will be the result?
Disappointment. You will either not take any action at all or you will only take small action.
You can always say after every 'belief' that comes up...
... If you say so...
I love that mindset hack.
Every time I have a limiting thought or belief coming up I have this little inner dialogue:
- I will be disappointed in the end...Yes, if you say so!
- Nobody will buy my program..If you say so!
- I can never travel the world and make money at the same time...If you say so!
- Yoga teachers just don't make a lot of money...If you say so!
It is the beliefs, that you believe to be true, that are holding you from moving forward, from stepping into your full power and your abundant self.
So back to you. Which beliefs are you taking on as truths?
And if they are not truths but beliefs anyway, what would you like them to shift to?
